New Seek Discomfort Summer Drop: live for only 72hrs!
This week after Death Valley hit the hottest temperature ever recorded... We decided to go and experience what 130F or 56C felt like... Both the best and worst idea we've ever had.
Does anyone read the description? I never really know to be honest. Well either way, this is Thomas and I'm a bit bored writing this so I'll just keep typing random things and see if anybody will notice. Conor was really upset that we kept him farting in the video so please ignore that part (or don't). Anyways, hope you liked the video we're actually pretty stoked with how it came out!
Check out Conor's channel here and tell him we sent you it'll make him very happy!
Thank you to Tommy, Tristan and Nathan for tagging along as our rescue team.

  • It’s worth noting that what you see on both Ammar and Thomas’ shoulder is a GPS tracking our location at all times (which the rescue team and people at home are receiving). It can also text anyone immediately if anything is needed. The rescue team, although they were joking around in the video, drove back and forth on the road to keep a visual on us. They kept us always in sight and were ready to come help if anything was needed 🙏 much love and a great week y’all

    • i experienced 128 f in Death Valley!!! to say it wasn't fun would be an understatement, glad i'm still alive to talk about it!!! that day, i'd left Vegas at 1 a.m., it was still 103!!! in Baker at 3 a.m., was still 103 ran into some Grateful Deadheads at 6 a.m. (coming from Dead show in Vegas), we partied- by the time i got back on the road 11 a.m., temp was above 122!!! my motorcycle was glowing white hot, had to stop at a rest area where the only shade was a trellis near the water fountain!!! the Deadheads showed up and we partied, while the reest area filled w/people whose cars were overheating- hoses and such were even melting!!! finally pulled away at 7 p.m. when was down to 110

    • MY friend went to Death Valley and he said it was “cool” he was 12 at the time. Still alive :)

    • yes

    • the flat earth stars moving and looking so nice

    • You all went in within a controlled environment. You were suppose to wing it and whatever happened, happened. Not saying it's fake, I'm saying the experience you presented was disingenuous. Calling for help at a moment's notice isn't really adventurous. Booooo! 👎

  • I live near Death Valley and experienced 130F. When you breathe in the hot air, your throat and lungs begin to burn . Night time is no relief because at midnight the temperature could be 112. . It gets so hot that one could fry an egg on the cement or bake a cake in your car. Central A/C is a must or you risk dying.

  • This goes to show ... NO ONE can stay out long enough in this desert to go find a dead body.

  • If you think that’s hot I live right next to a desert.

  • 8:58 looks pretty cold ngl

  • my computer hotter than this place so its technically the hottest place on earth?

  • R͟e͟a͟l͟ S͟e͟x͟ D͟a͟t͟i͟n͟g͟ O͟n͟l͟i͟n͟e͟💯 𝘿𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙉𝙤𝙬𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚⤵️ 💝➥ 👈 !

  • My goal is to complete a full IRONMAN event this year at 62 years old, but unfortunately I have two Titanium knees, it’s never been done before and I will be the first, I’m signed up for the 2021 California inaugural Sacramento IRONMAN Oct 24th, can you help make my dream come true?

  • You guys keep saying "this is dangerous" and I'm just here to say you still aren't selling it haha. I grew up with regular summer temps in my desert hometown of 118 F and in Nevada have experienced 121 F...(not even the hottest in Southwestern USA) and you can literally die. Cars break down from overheating and your drinks go from ice cold to almost boiling in minutes. Heat exhaustion is REAL...and it feels like death. You experienced 133 F, now let's imagine the hot places of the world without air conditioning and modern comforts...your body can take a long time to condition itself to an environment like that and even still you can die. Don't do this for fun I'm telling you. Especially Americans😂

  • Would you rather spend the rest of your life in hot weather or cold weather

  • Ammar is so cute 🥰

  • 56 is not recognized as a valid record by the scientific community. 54 is the current world record (held by Furnace Creek USA and al-Mitribah Kuwait). Since Furnace Creek is lower in altitude than al-Mitribah, the latter is actually the hottest recognized spot on earth.

  • Well, this is nothing, here in Mexicali, Mexico once they hit 60°C (140°F) and actually the tempetures there are really high more than 52°C (125°F), it's helllllll

    • 60C ground temperature you mean

  • I live In Saudi Arabia.. The average temperature in July in some cities is above 50° C 130°F.. This is Normal life 😂

  • WOW 🤩

  • Wim helped..great vid

  • Why are they even wearing socks on slippers.??.

  • Good they didnt write do not try this at home

  • Just drove through a few weeks ago, weather was nice hahahh. I do remember driving through with my dad as a kid and his vehicle read 127F, best way I could explain it is when I stepped out of the truck it felt like the was a hair dryer about six inches or less from my face!

  • Sorry my country has the hottest place on Earth in Ethiopia.

  • Am i the only filipino guy who thinks this shitty temperature is freaking useful after i washed all of my clothes😂

  • Grandad what did you do when your older ? All yes theory boys : well where do I begin

  • how the heck did you guys get the drone to work in that heat? i ruined two batteries to my Mavic 2 zoom, living here (Indio) close to palm springs in the summer.

  • Whoah those stars

  • Omg what an adventure cant imagine that kind of heat.In my country in the dry season the highest temps we have is 34 degrees c and we literallt boil.

  • I have to tell you guys something I was battling a big addiction eight weeks ago and I got on ISprofile and don’t ask me how I found your channel and I started watching your videos and I completely forgot about my addiction Innoway you guys help me laugh and cry and those eight weeks and I’m happy to see that I’ve been clean and I’m staying clean and I think God and yes channel that’s why I ordered seven sweaters from you guys thank you for your videos thank you for your help

  • Thomas is funny but also really emotional, and I love it

  • i have a rare disease and i take medication that makes me feel hot 24/7....i hate heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Im sure that would have to be hell to endure but the human body is meant for heat, not cold. Thats why we sweat and don't have fur. Plus I prefer the hot over the cold any day so its surprising that you all found the cold easier to endure.. probably because you were numbed out?

  • did matt gain pounds?

  • 58????? what the fuck

  • Love u guys

  • Me, being a firefighter in Arizona where we had 65+ days over 110 degrees consecutively

  • Yo Thomas I read them on every video I watch.

  • I live in one of the coldest capital cities in Australia, Melbourne and it got to 47ºc (117ºf) one year Feb 7th 2009. The entire state almost burnt to the ground. It was horrific. It doesn’t get this hot in the Australian Outback either the highest temp recorded in AU is 50.7ºc or 123ºf What I liked about this is that so many people always talk about hypothermia kills. When you said this is worse than running in your undies naked in a Polish blizzard. I felt that because I used to work outdoors and began to despise summer now I’m older . One guy was on the verge of heatstroke.

  • O_O saying over 50 degrees celsius!!! being a Canadian my prom day was 38 and I’ve never seen the temp so high

  • Happy to have found this channel 🌝🌞

  • Wow the sun is so red 🌞

  • Lmao i love how they make everything so dramatic when its really not. Ofc its prolly for youtube all fake :/ still good content tho ig

  • My Irish skin would literally just fall off if I did this 😂 I burn in like 20 degrees

  • The stupidest and by far the dumbest thing I've ever done was go for a hike in the Golden Canyon Pass in Death Valley on a solo road trip without telling anyone. I went on the hike around 11 am despite signs everywhere saying not to hike around noon. I saw no one out there. My phone overheated and wouldn't turn on (not that I had signal anyways), and the singular bottle of water I had with me that I was rationing like crazy actually hurt to drink because it became so hot. I walked until it felt like I was going to vomit and my head was pounding. I became concerned for my health at the point (crazy, right?) and turned back. I lost all track of time. I became delirious and very light-headed. I wanted to sleep, but I felt that I'd die if I did and my body wouldn't be found for a week. I kept trudging on. The entire time my body was hot, yet I wasn't sweating. I started singing to my self as it became harder to put one foot in front of another. I made it back to my car thankfully and downed some water, but I felt very disoriented. I drove back to the visitor's center after waiting for a bit (at like 2 or 3...idk). I drank two bottles of water and one bottle of Gatorade before my body began pissing sweat from every pore. My face and body were the definition of red. I probably looked like I found God out in the desert when I was in there. From talking with others (and being told that I am an idiot), I was probably on the verge of a heat stroke. It was the closest I've ever been to death (ironic that it was in Death Valley). 5 heat strokes out of 10...almost died but makes for a good story

  • I bet the guys in the car are gonna tell there kids they survived in the hottest place on earth even though they stayed in the car lmao

  • Bro I witness all this every day in Pakistan!

  • What you need to do it go out in that type of weather and do exorcises. Walking through that is easy.

  • Drama Queens 🙄

  • 58 degrees is nothing I have been in a roof for up to 6 hours or more that is at least 70-80 degreased I will come out with burns on my skin now that's hot! but in Australia, it's like 50 degreased all the time so I get ya point lol.

  • Was there last week. Not that extreme like this video makes it sound like.

  • Matt, you look like a cross between Luke Parry and Ben Affleck

  • Hottest place on the planet? Bs😂

  • *fun fact* : Kuwait claimed to hit 63 degree celsius in 2019, which is the highest temperature recorded in the world, but I guess that was never actually verified by the officials

  • Thank you for realizing that the whole of the rest of the world uses Celcius. I wish you'd also realize that the *whole of the rest of the world* uses the Metric System.

  • Who else had chills when Ammar finally spotted Thomas and Conor ?!

  • Watching this video while here in Brazil is soooooo hot ! I would wish being in North Pole or South Pole right now ... U can defenitly fry an egg on the asphalt 😥🌋🌅🌅🚒🌡☉🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

  • Its hotter where I work. Haha. Heat exhaustion is a serious threat even in a controlled environment we had to send 6 people to the doctors and 1 person to the hospital last year alone.

  • You guys are so crazy and also so amazing! WOW! Im so jealous, your adventures are ridiculous!

  • This video is like when u don’t have a map in Minecraft and ur trying to find ur friend

  • patrolling the mojave almost makes me wish for a nuclear winter

  • just another day in Australia

  • This isnt a fucking one time experience Yall could literally do this whenever you want

  • 5:44 looks like it's about to survive another planet to with over *40°C*

  • Its worth it!

  • Why even pitch a tent? Afraid to get wet and cold? In death valley?

  • Come to Australia

  • 30 degrees C in the UK feels like 60 degrees C in another country. I swear the UK has some weird thing that makes it feel 10x hotter than it should be

  • feels like a sauna? im finnish and saunas arent that hot.

  • I like the idea the literally risking their lives is worth some views.

  • The embarrassed switch affectively slow because parsnip comparably taste athwart a bored part. stupendous, ugliest editor

  • Man, I live in New Mexico, one day we had an unexpected heatwave while I was out hiking (111F) & I was on my way to heatstroke. Started having chills & feeling completely out of it. It hit me so fast. Very dangerous.

  • The best part of the video was the fart 🤣🤣 I was drinking natural ice at the time 25 oz cans 5.9% alcohol the propane heater right making my apartment 80 degrees in the winter. I couldn't stop laughing laugh so hard. I think the fart was putting fakely to reenact an actual situation. Lol

  • it's hilarious how they're walking in a desert with an aluminium foil mat strapped to their backpacks looking out for some shade...🤦‍♂️ is being a dumb ass a requirement to be a member of "Yes Theory Alpha team" ?

  • theres actually alot of U.S. Air Force planes that like to go through those valleys i wonder if you saw any
